Music has been a very common form of art that has been associated with man for a long time. It is not surprising that there are so many music genre spread across the world. The music genres vary from region to region and sometimes within several sections on the same region. There are different aspects of the music genre that make them so distinct and so unique for people to listen too. One of the most important aspects of music genre is the tunes.

The rhythm is important for two main reasons, you can pace your tune according to the rhythm and secondly if you are thinking of adding some lyrics to the tune, the rhythm is important in determining how you phrase the lyrics.
With these basics in place, you can now let you creativity go wild and start composing interesting tunes for yourself or someone special. As a variation, you can try different speeds in the same tune by changing the rhythm from time to time. Once you have mastered some tunes in one genre you can even move to the next one and keep going. Finally when you are fed up of sticking to traditional genres you can start exploring fusion music too.
